Today I stayed close to ‘home’ and explored the local high street in Penge. Lots of cool graffiti art, a funky plant nursery and cafe, and lots more walking. Terraced houses, lamp posts, red phone boxes – and all things quintessentially London. I’m staying near Crystal Palace (for those who know London), but the park is being refurbished so not much to see there at the moment, and lots of fences up everywhere.
I also crashed a birthday party and spent a fab afternoon in a beer garden with a group of women, plenty of wine (not me) and mocktails (me!), and heaps of laughs. The walk to and from was also more good exercise. I forgot that London is a walking city!
